[ccp4bb]: Compile error on ACT program

Dear All,
         I've altered the ACT program source code value MAXCH from 10 to 15
and tried to recompile using touch, make and make install on our LINUX box
OS redhat 6.2. This fails. When I put the value back to 10 and attempted to
recompile again it fails to compile. Can anybody suggest what I'm doing
wrong.
