You'd have to build the CCP4 distribution for dynamically linked
executables; sorry about this - I will build a statically linked
executable as soon as I have access to an SGI (I'll assume that's what
you're using - if not, let me know) with properly installed compilers.

i.e. use 

.../configure SYSNAM --with-shared-lib (+other flags).
