Dear colleagues,

as I got a number of requests for our program 'novel_r' (K. Diederichs &
A. Karplus (1997) Improved R-factors for Diffraction Data Analysis in
Macromolecular Crystallography. Nature Structural Biology 4, 269-275,
erratum on page 592) I'd like to say that there is a link to the source
code on my homepage (see below).

Please note that the purpose of the paper is to introduce 'R_meas', a
corrected version of R_sym (some people call that R_merge), and a
R-factor 'R-mrgd' that refers to the quality of the reduced data (as
opposed to R_meas which measures the agreement among observations). The
program calculates these quantities, and as a by-product, other
statistics are computed (like mean I/sigI) and printed out.
