Yes, we have such a tool.  At the moment it is locked up in our
password-protected remote operations tools for the NSLS PX beamlines.  If
there is a hue and cry, we could make it generally available.  

If you don't get a satisfactory answer from the BB, send private e-mail to
John Skinner and we'll help.
