Ola,

Promega and Novagen also do cell-free translation system's.  We
currently use the Novagen extract but with the Roche pIVEX vector.
Vector makes a lot of difference, it is very important to have a
downstream T7 terminator.  I don't know of any UK groups working on in
vitro expression extracts but there is a group in Japan (Shimizu et al.
Nat. Biotech, 2001, 19(8), 751-755).
