Dear all,

It is my understanding, correct me if I am wrong, that sigma-A correction
plus shaking plus omitting residues before calculating a map is at least
as effective as a simulated annealing omit map in reducing model bias, and
much less time consuming.

XtalView uses a 1/6dmin amplitude for shaking, is this approximately what
would be appropriate to use as input for dx, dy, and dz in
moleman2? I know many of you will suggest averaged wARP maps, but I wish
to know what your thoughts are on appropriate degrees of shaking. Has
anyone looked at how much you can shake before map quality degrades?
