Hi Rajan,

At Acidic pH, useful groups like His & Cys are likely to be largely Protenated,
so they might not be so useful. pH independant reactions, such as PtCl4 with
Met, and possibly Mercurials with Cys may also be worth a try.

Your Asp & Glu sidechains are less likely to be protenated, so Lanthanides and
Uranyl compounds are also a safe bet. You could also try some Anionic compounds
like IrCl6.
