The Fourier Duck
If we only have the low resolution terms of the diffraction pattern,
we only get a low resolution duck:

Crystallographic Interpretation:
There is considerable loss of detail. At low resolution, your atomic
model may reflect more what you expect to see than what is actually
there.
Note the ripples around the duck. These could be mistaken for
solvation shells.
More Fourier transforms.
