Kay,

it looks that you're running RedHat 7.0 PLUS all Errata installed?
Which is a very easy anyway with the 'up2date' tool! The plain RedHat
7.0 comes with gcc-2.96-54.

Maybe a note on the CCP4 page would be helpful: a particular
distributions (like RedHat 7.0) always consists of the base
distribution (e.g. the original CD) with all bug fixes, errata and
updates installed.
