if you want 3-letter-code you can read it into O
and write out the sequence datablock (or construct
a C-shell command using grep and cut to do it)

if you want 1-letter-code, moleman2 contains
the SQuence PIr command which will write the
sequence to a file in PIR format (see:
http://xray.bmc.uu.se/usf/moleman2_man.html#H23)
