do you want to simply add together three maps and
divide by 3, or do you want to do more sophisticated
multiple-crystal-form averaging ?

in the former case, you can do it simply with
mapman, but the maps must be on the same grid
and have the same cell (if not, you can move
them to a common grid, e.g. with mave)

in the latter case, you will want to use mave
or dmmulti or ... this is the proper way of
doing things (even if the crystals are
isomorphous but have slightly different
cell constants), but requires you to
generate a mask, define RT-operators, etc.
