Dear All,
Slightly off subject, but I think relevant to most British
crystallographers. We usually go by Eurostar to ESRF taking both a
transport dewar and unfrozen crystals. In the past this has not been a
great problem (most of the time at least). This time, however, because of
heightened security throughout Europe we decided to check first. The head
of security at Waterloo has said to us that everything has to go in
baggage at the back of the train. This is fine for the transport dewar,
tools etc, but the unfrozen crystals will probably suffer to say the
least!
Does anyone have any ideas of ways around this. The main reason
for taking unfrozen crystals this time is to use the xenon pressure kit at
Grenoble. Does anyone in the London area have access to a kit that, out
of the kindness of their hearts, they might let us use?

Any advice would be appreciated,

	Thanks,
