*** Announcement of Deposition of EM data
with fitted coordinates to the PDB ***
CRYO-ELECTRON MICROSCOPY methods that generate fitted coordinates
can now be deposited to the PDB into a new template.
(see http://iims.ebi.ac.uk/3dem_pdb.html
or http://deposit.rcsb.org/cryo-em.html).
New versions of AutoDep (http://autodep.ebi.ac.uk) and
ADIT (http://pdb.rutgers.edu/adit/ and
http://pdbdep.protein.osaka-u.ac.jp/adit/)
are available designed to support this detailed template
for Electron Microscopy.
AutoDep is also capable of supporting HARVEST information
from CCP4 (SCALA, TRUNCATE,REFMAC) and the CNS program suite.
The information from Harvest files can be merged, resulting in quicker
deposition. (Note: Full details of TLS and NCS refinement parameters
are not reflected back in the web pages as this level of detail
is not expected to be entered by hand.)
For further details see:
http://autodep.ebi.ac.uk/autodep-doc/html/release-notes.html
The mapping of the PDB template to mmCIF definitions is given in
http://iims.ebi.ac.uk/pdb-iimsCIF.html
and the additional mmcif definitions are given in
http://iims.ebi.ac.uk/iims_dictionary/iims.dic
or http://iims.ebi.ac.uk/cif_iims.dic/Groups/em_group.html

message from different bulletin boards )
