Jan,

I was able to grow thicker xtals by "macro" or/and "micro" seedings from
needle-like xtals. Based on what you wrote, it seems like you are better to
try micro-seeding first. You could find details on page 13-14 of "Practical
Protein Crystallography" by Duncan E. McRee.

Good luck

Hi,
I am desparately trying to grow 'thicker' crystals of my 'needles'.
Has anyone had experience of getting this done. pH, protein
concentration,
drop size and temperature do not help. Some dependance on additives but
nothing great.
Any useful ideas?????
(Yes, seeding also did not change the size)
