There are detergent kits available from several manufacturers (hampton,
boehringer, ...).
This is expensive stuff, so you want small experiments to start with :-)
Find a detergent that works for you (work at 1.2 or 1.5x the CMC).
Change detergents by dialysis.
Try to avoid triton-x, as there is no way to get rid of it afterwards.
