Re: [ccp4bb]: how to draw the electric density map by Molscript?

Molscript can draw electron density maps! First you need to make a o_plot
file in "O". Then you need to find a copy of PLT2MOL (it's somewhere out
there on the internet). Then you can include your electron density:
EXAMPLE USING MOLSCRIPT TO DISPLAY ELECTRON DENSITY MAPS WITH O
1)Map_File
2)Map_Object
3)Map_Paramete
4)Map_Active_C
5)Map_Draw
6)Map_cover
7)Plot_on
6)Map_cover
5)Map_Draw
8)Plot_off
9)plt2mol MAPOBJ_MAP 0.117647 0.564706 1 < o_plot > output_file.dat
plt2mol MAPOBJ_MAP 1.0 0.411765 0.705882 < o_plot > output_file.dat
10)EDIT MOLSCRIPT FILE:
plot
read mol "fig.pdb";
transform atom * by centre position atom *;
object "output_file.dat";
end_plot
