Dear Folks,


   I have an Nvidia Quadro 4 750 GLX card here on trial under linux.    
The hardware acceleration is very impressive (triple the fps rate for  
rotating surfaces wrt an Octane2 with V12 graphics).  I was trying to  
get it working using VMD, but it appears that the emitter (either  
crystal eyes or nuvision) is not activated (the glasses don't synch on  
anything, and don't change when I put my hand in front of the emitter),  
so I get no effect.  VMD seems to think that the system is  
stereo-capable, and gives the appropriate display.  I configured the  
XFree86-4 file according to the instructions; there is a choice of  
three kinds of glasses when enabling stereo.  One appeared to be most  
appropriate, but once it didn't work, I tried all three.  No effect.

Any experiences?
