Hi folks:

I'm not sure how optimized it is, or even if there is any difference 
between this and what CCP4 defaults to install, but you can install 
atlas via fink:

http://fink.sourceforge.net/pdb/package.php/atlas

Anyone interested could email Jerrrey Whitaker at NOAA who ported this 
to fink and ask.  I think he also the one who ported fftw if memory 
serves.  There is an absoft version of that in fink too BTW.
