The combined cost is $800 for academics and $1050 for non-academics, to cover registration and all meals at the hotel from Sunday afternoon to Wednesday lunchtime, with the exception of the Tuesday dinner (which is left open to explore the city). We have secured an exceptionally low rate at this central, top-class hotel of only $230 per night, including all taxes. We have tried to keep the costs down while ensuring a high quality environment and refreshments to foster 3 days of interactive discussion. The costs are little more than the previous meetings in Philadelphia and York, but San Francisco is a more expensive venue.
We emphasise that this is the total cost for your complete time at the meeting – high quality hotel, good food and refreshments as well as the registration cost. This total amount is what you would expect to pay for registration alone at a typical 2 day commercial conference.
As in previous years attendance will be limited to a couple hundred people to foster interaction.
