I am not sure, but it looks like it may be an abstract from the
2002 biophysical society annual meeting.  The website
http://www.biophysics.org/annmtg/geninfo.htm
states that

"Abstracts of all contributed papers to the Biophysical Society Annual
Meeting will be published as a supplement to the January 2002 issue of
Biophysical Journal. This volume will be mailed to all Society members in
January. Members should take this book to the meeting since replacements
will cost $45.00. Nonmember registrants will receive a copy of the
Abstracts Issue at the meeting. All attendees will be given a copy of the
Meeting Program at the meeting."
