Which distribution of Linux do you have? It would
be helpful if you could cut and paste the exact output of what is issued
when you try 'rpm -Uv blt_2.4.i386.rpm'. Maybe there is a version
mismatch. It could also be that you try to
install packages from different distributions. In that case, try
'rpm -U --nodeps blt_2.4.i386.rpm' which will not check for
missing dependencies. However, if something is *really* missing, the
programmes might not work.
