Same question here. I was also asked (by SGI Munich) whether I want to
downgrade. 

I seem to remember that our R7000 O2 machines exhibit the following
problem: if you do 'sketch_stick' in O they reproducibly hang (don't
react to 'ping', need hard reset). Whether the downgrade will cure this
problem I don't know but I feel that some day we _will_ find an
important piece of software that won't run on these machines.
