Hi Randy/Others,

I am trying to figure this out and am confused - big time.

Beast, uses LLG of structure factors. So, if i am trying MR using data
data set for which I dont know the exact space group (P4x2x2). Then, by
regular patterson methods, I would have to do rotation search just once,
then do translation search in every space group. I understand how that
happens.

If you calculate CC's on SF's, or LLG's will they not depend on the exact
space group? Dont I have to carry out rotation serach for each of the
possibile space groups too or dont I have to? What am I missing..

Thanks.

Rams.
