Hi,

are you outputing to a PostScript file? If so, try decreasing the
value of segmentsize.

  -- Ditlev

segmentsize <http://www.avatar.se/molscript/doc/values.html#number>
number

Set the maximum size of certain graphical segments for the PostScript
<http://www.avatar.se/molscript/doc/output.html#PostScript> output
mode. If the graphical segments (lines, triangles and cylinders, see
below) are larger than this value, then they are recursively subdivided
into smaller pieces. Note that very large numbers of graphical segments
may be produced if a small value is used for this parameter.

Default: 2.0
Required: > 0.0
Applies to: line <http://www.avatar.se/molscript/doc/commands.html#line>
, cylinder
<http://www.avatar.se/molscript/doc/residue_commands.html#cylinder> ,
object <http://www.avatar.se/molscript/doc/commands.html#object>
Used for: PostScript
<http://www.avatar.se/molscript/doc/output.html#PostScript> only
