[ccp4bb]: automated backup

Sorry for the non-ccp4 related question, but I thought this might be of
general interest. Our group is interested in some sort of automated backup
system for our sgi/linux machines. There are a few open source backup
programs (AMANDA comes to mind) and quite a few commercial programs. The
options seem to be to use some sort of software backing up to a tape/disc
drive or to use a dedicated network appliance with a built-in tape
carousel or a large disk array. What sort of solutions do people on the
list have for this?
