hi,
	I believe there are quite a few instances where this has been done
successfully. The ref. that comes to my mind immediately is on
aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases done by Moras and coworkers on the aspartyl
system. Have a look at the paper by Schmitt et al. EMBO J. 1998 Sep
1;17(17):5227-37.
